So What Does That Mean?

If you currently listen to a DAB radio station in Reading, you'll be listening to regional or national DAB services. These stations serve massive geographical areas. The costs to be on these networks are very high and sometimes unaffordable for smaller 'not-for-profit' radio stations like B Radio.

Small Scale DAB for Reading, will cover and serve Reading! The small-scale DAB multiplex entry cost for community radio stations is low, sometimes even free.

The advances in technology and the regulator allowing this new way of broadcasting in DAB will allow us to launch unique, local community-focused radio stations that better serve the communities we live in.

Allowing for more choice, more voices, and content to suit all tastes.
