Local Radio is a company owned and operated by B Radio
B Radio is an Ofcom licensed Community Radio Station based in Reading. It's now become the only FM non BBC radio station to be based in Reading, giving the community the voice it deserves.
But, it doesn't stop with us. Small Scale DAB gives many others the chance to have a voice at an entry-level that is far lower than larger DAB operators offer.

About our Bid
As Reading's only OFCOM FM licenced community radio station, and with experienced local broadcasters at the helm of our company, we are well-positioned to operate a small-scale DAB multiplex in Reading.
Our bid will allocate free DAB slots to locally owned and operated, OFCOM C-DSP licence holders.
We promise to always give local operators in our area access first to our Small Scale DAB Multiplex before offering space to other broadcasters.
Our vision for small-scale DAB in Reading is a diverse collection of radio stations, with a 'local first' approach. Giving Reading an amazing choice of locally programmed radio services.
